The Evington 5-bar field gate features a classic design and is suitable for farms in need of a solution for exposed access or for homes seeking a natural rural farm look.Crafted in the UK using smooth planed Scandinavian Redwood, the Evington 5 bar field gate features a pressure-treated finish that protects against rot, mould, and blue stain fungi for a durable, low maintenance lifespan. The Evington is offered in sizes ranging from 900mm to 3600mm, providing versatility for use as a single pedestrian gate, a single driveway gate, or in combination with another gate and a throw-over latch to form a barrier for larger vehicles across a wide entrance. The gate features Heavy-duty hanging stiles that are 127mm x 75mm, the bracing Rails are 75mm x 25mm thick,. In addition, the three inner rails are evenly spaced, while diagonal bracing bars enhance the gate’s strength and traditional farm-style appearance.NOTE: Optional fittings packs are available which include the correct size hinges for this weight of gate. The long strap hinge should be fitted to the top rail and the short hinge to the side frame towards the bottom of the gate. The fittings are galvanised to prevent rust.
