We at Gate Craft know how important timely delivery is to you, after all, we ourselves are customers of the products that we buy for our own domestic personal use. So below we are providing for you all the information relating to the delivery of your products and also we have placed a summary of our delivery information on our Home page, on our product pages and on the Collection pages.

Summary:

For orders £649 and over the Delivery is FREE on all UK Mainland.

For orders under £650, there is a standard £15.00 delivery charge on all UK Mainland. (Read the details below)

Order confirmation.

When we receive your order, we provide you with a confirmation to your email. In addition, when you receive your order confirmation we have pre-authorised your payment method. We check with our warehouse or suppliers to make sure that your desired item is available and can be despatched.

In the event that your items are unavailable for immediate despatch, we remove the pre-authorisation from your credit card and send you an email informing you of our actions. When items are available to be dispatched, we process the charges and prepare to despatch your order.

How will my order be delivered?

All orders will be delivered using the fastest, safest, and most reliable methods. Once we process your payment, we dispatch your items within the delivery time frame stated on the product page. Then, we send you a despatch notification after your item/s have left the warehouse.

We will choose the most suitable delivery method and courier after you order. It’s not possible to choose a courier or delivery method yourself.

We are committed to delivering your goods as quickly as possible after receipt of your order. Where goods are in stock, delivery will be within approximately 5 working days.

Remember these Gates you are purchasing are large and heavy, unlike smaller compact items, they need extra personel to handle, lift, apply packaging to prepare for delivery, these factors will be taken into account and you will be contacted with an estimated delivery time for the order, at the time of your order placement.

Our premium range gates are mostly made to order, meaning they are manufactured soon after you place an order, they then go through the complete manufacturing cycle, and this cycle from receiving your order to you receiving your gate will take approximately 4-8 weeks for U.K mainland addresses, this also applys to non-stocked goods and made to measure goods.

Delivery times can be longer during the busier times like Christmas, New year and summer months due to the number of orders going through our factory at any one time.

We can never be held responsible if the manufacture time is longer than the estimated 8 working weeks, but we will always try to inform you in a timely manner if any unexpected delays arise. Please do not arrange any builders or fitters prior to receiving your product as we will not refund their cost if the product delivery is delayed.

For orders under £650, there is a standard £15.00 delivery charge on all UK Mainland orders up to a maximum of 4 items, larger volume orders may incur a higher delivery charge that will be determined at the time of your order. 

For orders £650 and over the Delivery is FREE on all UK Mainland orders up to a maximum of 4 items.

Above delivery charges are for Gates, for Posts, fittings and Accessories bought independently without gates, there is a £15.00 delivery charge.

As standard our courier services do not offer timed deliveries or am/pm deliveries unless this has been specifically paid for. We can request the courier gives you a pre-call but this is unfortunately at the discretion of the courier and not guaranteed.

We are committed to delivering your goods as quickly as possible after receipt of your order. Where goods are in stock, delivery will be within approximately 5 working days. For non-stocked goods and made-to-measure goods, please allow approximately 8-10 weeks for UK mainland addresses, we will always try to inform you in a timely manner if any unexpected delays arise.

Please do not arrange any builders or fitters prior to receiving your product as we will not refund their cost if the product delivery is delayed.

Please note we do not do as standard deliver to;

• Isle of Wight
• Isle of Man
• Northern Ireland
• Any outer lying remote areas within the UK mainland or the Scottish Highlands or Scottish Isles
• Jersey or Guernsey

Order Tracking

Tracking details are usually available the following working day after dispatch. If you have specific delivery requirements or require an update on your shipment, please don’t hesitate to contact our Customer Helpline.

Product Availability

We always try to ensure that we have enough stock in our warehouse to satisfy every customer’s order. Occasionally we find we have more demand for a product than expected and this may mean a delay before we can satisfy your order with our replenished stocks. If high demand means that the item you require is not immediately available, we will alway contact you in a timely manner to let you know the expected delivery date.
